Fourth Wall Presents: An Evening of One-Act Plays

Step into an unforgettable night where heartfelt moments meet unexpected humor, and the smallest encounters leave the biggest impact.

🌾 A Blooming of Ivy by Garry Williams
On a quiet spring morning in rural Indiana, widow Ivy's routine is interrupted by an unexpected visit from George, a longtime neighbor and longtime admirer. What starts as a simple cup of coffee blossoms into a conversation about love and loss, and how to find the courage to let life surprise you again.

❄️ According by Arlene Flower

It's a frigid New Year’s Day in suburban Chicago when three adult siblings gather in the backyard along with their late mother’s ashes in an unusual container. Between biting winds, biting humor, and long-buried family tensions, they wrestle with what it really means to be a “normal" family.

🌧 Rain by Garry Williams

On a farmhouse porch at dusk, Rain follows Mary, her husband Staff, and their son Tyler as they wait and pray for a life-saving storm. With the drought as a pressure cooker, the play mixes earth-worn humor with flashes of grief and anger, and blunt conversations about faith, fear, and survival.

Join us for an evening of laughter, tenderness, connection, and humanity where each story reveals how the smallest encounters can change the course of a life.
